Story Reunion 2007 - Kentucky Dam Village
I haven't done much here on the reunion website for awhile but for the benefit of those that couldn't make it to Kentucky Lake this year here is a slide show of some of my pictures. Desiree and Marcus did a great job and the choice of locations couldn't have been better. The plan for next year is to gather in Chicago and in 2009 Southern California (San Diego?). See you there!
Prints of the family photo can be viewed and ordered from this link

I have just added a new domain name for the Story Family Reunion. What this means is that we can each have a personal email address, ie.
RogerScott@storyfamilyonline.com
The format for your address will be (FirstnameLastname@storyfamilyonline.com). Sorry no nicknames or screen names allowed. This is to make it easier for everyone to remember your address.

You can send me a request for an address by clicking on my storyfamilyonline email address above and I will set up a free email account for you and send you instructions how to check you email on the new account.
This is a no cost freebie from AOL! You do not have to subscribe to AOL to use this service.
With a new family email address you can contact other family members more easily and not have to remember complicated address'. All you need to know is the family members first and last name to get in touch.
Drop me a line and I can get you set up right away.

Get ready to join us in Texas this summer!
The Story Family Reunion will be in Arlington Texas!
July 8 thru July 10, 2005
Accomodations will be at the Arlington Holiday Inn.
We will be sending out a letter in about a week with more details and information about accomodations and travel arrangements.
Arlington is home to the Texas Rangers Baseball team, Six Flags over Texas and the future home of the Dallas Cowboys along with a zillion other destinations. Located midway between Dallas, Fort Worth and DFW Airport, Arlington is right in the middle of the metroplex and close to everything. We are making plans that young and old will enjoy. Something for everybody!
We all look forward to seeing a big group this year and can't wait to welcome you all back to Texas.

I'm told that everyone had a great time in the Crescent City! Sorry I missed the good times but Texas just wouldn't let us go.

Anybody have any pictures to share? Pass them on in email or snail mail and I will post them here for everybody else to enjoy.  Just drop me a note using my email link on the right side of this page and we can make arrangements to get your pictures posted and returned to you.

I guess that by now you should all know that we plan to host the reunion here in Fort Worth next year and we have already started discussing plans. If anyone has any suggestions or ideas for activities or places you would like to see while here in North Texas please let me know and we can try to work them into the plans. New ideas are always welcome!

If you have a change of address or know of somebody that has moved or changed their email address send it to me when you have a spare moment. I plan to use email pretty extensively for a lot of the day to day communications to keep every one informed so it is important that we have a current address of some sort to keep everyone informed.

I don't know if you have noticed but at the end of any new posts to this page is a "COMMENTS" link .  Please use this if you have any thoughts or ideas to share regarding the post. This is one of the best ways we have to keep us all informed and to share thoughts on different topics.

We are looking forward to see as many Story kin as Texas can hold next July! think cool thoughts and stay in touch.

Okay so I'm a little tardy with the news but There is a brand new Story in Texas. Nathaniel Jason Henley aka "Funky Pontoon" arrived April 22 2004 in Fort Worth. His mom and Dad, Jeremi Scott and Jason Henley are both holding up well and enjoying being new parents. Toni and I are getting to be expert grandparents and couldn't be happier.
